On Tuesday October 7, 2014 at 7:18 PM Niagara Regional Police, Grimsby Fire Services and Niagara Emergency Medical Services responded for a 16 year old Grimsby male who had been walking south bound on Mountain Road near Kemp Street in the Town of Grimsby when he was struck by a south bound 2002 GMC motor vehicle.

The 16 year old was transported by ambulance to McMaster Children’s Hospital in Hamilton with life threatening injuries.

The 48 year old female driver from St Anns was not injured in the collision.

This collision remains under investigation by Detectives of the Niagara Regional Police Services Collision Reconstruction Unit.
