On Wednesday October 15th 2014, members of the Welland Street Crime Unit were searching for a wanted party in the City of Welland, Ontario. The male was located and according to police, observed to be trafficking narcotics in a public area along with another male suspect. Police say both parties were subsequently arrested and found to be in possession of $350 in pills, $10 of crystal meth, $730 in cash, and several weapons.
Charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose, Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000, and Fail to Comply with a Recognizance Order is 30 year old Arron DOUCETTE of Welland, Ontario.
Charged with Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking, Possession of a Schedule I Substance, Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, Possession of a Weapon for Dangerous Purpose and Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime under $5000 is 36 year old Marco GRENIER of Welland, Ontario.
Doucette and Grenier will be held for a bail hearing on October 16th 2014 in the City of St. Catharines, Ontario.
