The Niagara Regional Police Service is seeking the public’s assistance with regards to an attempted robbery at the Delta Gas Bar located at 292 Geneva Street in the City of St. Catharines on Thursday, October 23, 2014 at approximately 2:35 p.m.

Police say the victim in this matter, stated that a white female suspect in her twenties, between 5’2″ to 5’4″ tall, with a small build and wearing black gloves, a pink toque, blue hoodie with the hood up, grey sweat pants and large sunglasses, had approached the kiosk that the employee was working in, brandishing a small paring knife and demanded money from him.

The suspect did not get any money or merchandise and fled  south across the parking lot in front of the business, Mimi Nails and then east down a short alley to the parking lot behind 292 Geneva Street before disappearing.  It is believed that the female suspect may have entered a waiting vehicle parked nearby which drove off, heading west on the QEW towards the Grimsby area.
