According to police, on Sunday December 7, 2014, at approximately 9:55 pm, Uniform Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended the area of Ted St at St.Alfred’s Park in the city of St.Catharines, in regards to an Attempted Robbery.

Police learned that a lone female was walking her dog, when she was confronted by an unknown male.  The male asked if she had any money, at which time a brief physical altercation ensued.  The female victim was not seriously injured as a result of the Robbery Attempt.  The male ran from the Ted St area on foot prior to Police arrival.

The suspect is described as 5’5″, with a heavy build, wearing blue jeans and a dark hoodie.
