According to police, on Friday January 2, 2015 two Welland residents were arrested and charged with numerous counts of Break, Enter, and Commit.   Two residences in Welland, Ontario were subsequently searched and over 300 pieces of property believed to be stolen were seized.

Police have identified the owners of numerous pieces of the property and additional criminal charges have been laid.  Kristopher Hodgkins has additionally been charged with 9 counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000.00 and Jennifer Hodgkins has been charged with an additional 5 counts of Possession of Stolen Property under $5,000.00.

Police are continuing to investigate this incident and more charges are expected.  Police are also in the process of locating the owners of the property that owners have not been identified.

Investigators are looking for victims of break and enters that occurred between mid- September of 2014 and January 2, 2015, especially those whose houses were broken into in in the daytime hours in the Welland, Pelham, and Fonthill areas.
