According to police, over the past week members of the St. Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating a male for selling drugs from his vehicle.  As a result of this investigation, Police arrested the male on Wednesday January 14th as he exited the Canadian Tire Store located at 300 Glendale Avenue.

Police then obtained a search warrant for the male’s vehicle where they say they found a large quantity of crack cocaine and cash inside the vehicle.

Charged with 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking. 1 count of Possession of a Controlled Substance, 1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime, 1 count of Possession of Stolen Property and 1 count of Possession of an unauthorized Weapon is 28-year-old Antonio Charles. Charles will be attending for bail hearing tomorrow morning at the St. Catharines courthouse.

In total Police located $2,600.00 in crack cocaine and $2,700.00 in cash.
