Niagara Regional Police are looking for a male and female wanted on several charges in relation to an incident where they were entrusted with ‘house sitting’. Valuables worth more than $500,000, saved for the homeowners retirement, had been taken from a Niagara Falls home as well as a motor vehicle.

Police have recovered $4800 worth of items from two St. Catharines pawn shops as well as the motor vehicle.

According to police, 39 year old Scott SANDY of St.Catharines and 41 year old Jennifer PRIES-REID of Niagara on the Lake are wanted on charges of Theft over $5000, Possession of Stolen Property under $5000, Possession of Stolen Property over $5000, Theft of a Motor Vehicle and Breach of Probation. A total of 38 charges have been laid on the pair.

The whereabouts of Scott SANDY and Jennifer PRIES-REID are unknown at this time and warrants for their are being sought after.  If you have information regarding the whereabouts of either person, please contact Niagara Regional Police Service (905) 688-4111
