UPDATE: Missing Person – Raina Rishiraj has been located. The support received from the community has been appreciated.

ORIGINAL REPORT:

The Niagara Regional Police Service is seeking assistance from the public in locating 16 year-old Raina RISHIRAJ.

Miss RISHIRAJ was last seen in the area of Ontario St. and Serena Dr. in the Town of Beamsville on Wednesday February 25th at 7pm when she was dropped off by Hamilton Taxi.

Foul play is not suspected, however, she is an insulin dependent diabetic and requires medication.

Miss RISHIRAJ is a student at Beamsville District High School and is believed to still be in the Niagara Region.

Description:
-East Indian
-5’0 height
-140 lbs
-Brown eyes
-Dark skin
-Long Black Hair with Extensions

Clothing Description:
-Black coat
-Black pants
-Tan boots

She is appropriately dressed for the weather.  The concern for Miss RISHIRAJ’s well-being is due to her type 1 diabetes.  If not treated with insulin she will become disoriented, leading to unconsciousness and possibly death if left untreated.
