Police say on April 29, 2015 members of the 5 District Detective Office began an investigation into the sale of drugs in Fort Erie.
Police observed several drug transactions in the area of Garrison Rd and Lakeshore Rd. and as a result, thirty six year old Philip Popering of Fort Erie was arrested for Trafficking a Schedule 1 Substance and Fail to Comply Recognizance. Twenty four year old Fred Cratt of Niagara Falls and twenty nine year old Kristine Letwin of Fort Erie were charged with Possession of a Schedule 1 Substance contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. Philip Popering was held for a bail hearing on April 30th.
