According to police, on Tuesday May 12th 2015 members of the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit observed a wanted male enter into a Niagara Falls Hotel Room. The male was wanted for Fail to Appear on drug charges in Niagara.
A feeney warrant was sought and executed by Detectives for the wanted male. Inside the accused was arrested and Detectives observed a bag of crack cocaine on the floor. The wanted male and another male inside the Hotel Room were arrested and a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant was then prepared and later executed.
A search of the Hotel Room revealed 7.8 grams of crack cocaine, 3.6 grams of Heroin, Canadian currency and numerous other items related to drug trafficking. In total $2200 worth of drugs were recovered.
Charged are 21yr old David MCCOMB and 29 yr old Segetlab HAILE both of Niagara Falls. MCCOMB and HAILE are charged with 2 Counts of Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (Cocaine and Heroin) and Possession of Proceeds of Crime. MCCOMB also faces 2 counts of Breach of Recognizance and a count of Breach of Probation.
Both are held pending a Bail Hearing on May 13th 2015 in St Catharines.
