What to Expect at Camp?

“This year TCAG Camp will be taking nine field trips throughout the summer.  Each week has a different theme.  Each Friday has special activities related to that week’s theme. Some activities campers participate in during the day include craft, sports, games, swimming, special event activities,” said TCAG Interim Executive Director, Dan Pelletier.

As an early booking bonus, families can also take advantage of the TCAG Bonus Day promotion offering a gift with purchase.  When a patron books one full weekly Camp package by June 30 one free day for a friend is offered as a gift. The promotion limits one bonus per friend through the summer.

“Camp is a great place to develop skills, make new friends, and play.  We are providing high a quality recreational, cultural and educational programs and the Summer Camp is going to be a great place for the kids. Our Camp is an excellent value-packed program,” said Pelletier.

The TCAG is dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for all Thorold and area residents by coordinating and delivering high quality recreational, cultural and educational programs and community services through committed volunteers and staff serving their community with pride. The TCAG was founded in October 1981 and the Group has grown in many ways ever since. The scope of this growth range from the number and types of activities offered, the number of individuals participating in the programs, and the events held within the City of Thorold for community residents. The motto has continued to be “People serving in, for, and with their community,” and thanks to the help and hard work of staff and our many volunteers, the Group has been able to continue providing services to the residents of Thorold.
