Police say since July, 2015 members of the 1 District Street Crime Unit have been investigating the sale of drugs from a residence on Maple Street in the City of St. Catharines.

 

On September 29, 2015 as a result of the investigation Police were granted a search warrant for the residence and persons were arrested from two different apartments at the residence. Police seized a total amount of suspected crack cocaine valued at $3350, $500 of marijuana, a small amount of heroin, and $3800 in currency believed to be proceeds from drug sales.

 

Tyrone BARROW, a 32 year old citizen of Barbados is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime. Shawna WALL a 38 year old resident of St. Catharines is charged with two counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

 

Joel RAMOCAN a 23 year old resident of Brampton is charged with 2 counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime. Emmanuel RAMOCAN a 22 year old resident of Brampton is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.

 

All four of the arrested persons were held for bail hearings.
