Police say, on November 15, 2015 at approximately 6:30AM uniform officers from the Niagara Falls office of the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to the area of Dell Street and Skinner Avenue in Niagara Falls.  Members of the public had called the police to report the sound of gunshots.

 

Officers attended and located a residence in the area with external damage and an investigation into this shooting incident started with the Niagara Falls Criminal Investigation Branch.

The investigation has determined that a residence on Dell Avenue was struck with in excess of 10 bullets.  The Niagara Regional Police Service (NRPS), Forensic Services Unit has processed the scene to collect evidence.

The investigation continues to move forward, but detectives have not received the full co-operation of the persons involved.   Detectives believe that this was not a random incident.

A vehicle was seen in the area of Dell Avenue and Skinner Street at the time of the shooting.  It is unknown whether this vehicle was involved or just happened to be in the area. There is presently no description of the vehicle.  Detectives would like to identify this vehicle and its driver and passengers.

The NRPS is appealing to the public who may have information about his incident to come forward and contact them or Crime Stoppers of Niagara.
