Police say that on Sunday January 3rd, 2015 in the early morning hours uniform officers from the casino patrol unit attended an address on Temperance Avenue in the city of Niagara Falls for reports of a robbery.

 

The victim was within his residence when he heard several loud bangs coming from his front door around 1:47 a.m.  The victim proceeded to the front door to find two males trying to enter his residence.  When the victim looked through the door one of the male suspects shouted “All of it, All of it” while waving a weapon in hand.  The victim retreated back upstairs and called police.  The suspects eventually fled the area. The victim was not injured and did not suffer any loss.

Following an investigation one of the males were identified and subsequently arrested.

Charged with one count of attempt Break and Enter with intent to commit the indictable offence of Robbery is 21 year old Tyler West who is a resident of Niagara Falls.  West will be held pending a bail hearing which will be held on tomorrows date in St. Catharines.
