Cancellations across the region are occuring as the stormy conditions hit niagara.  Here are some to be aware of:

SCHOOLS:

DSBN has CANCELLED buses, schools remain open

DSBN girls basketball tournament at Brock is cancelled

Niagara Catholic District School Board has CANCELLED buses, schools are still open

French Catholic Board has cancelled buses, schools open

French Public buses cancelled, schools open

Niagara College is closed with all classes and activities cancelled

Brock University is on reading week

Niagara Christian Collegiate in Fort Erie, closed

Beacon Christian school, closed

Heritage Christian School in Jordan, closed

Covenant Christian School in Smithville, closed

John Knox Christian School in Stoney Creek, closed

Niagara Academy in Vineland, closed

Preschool Central in Central Community Church (St. Catharines), closed

Port Dalhousie Co-op Nursery School, closed

Kids Kastle Co-operative Nursery school, closed

Daycare Centres in Beamsville Number 1 and 2 are closed

COMMUNITY PROGRAMS:

Day programs for Niagara Support Services and NTEC cancelled

Meals on Wheels Thorold-St. Catharines, closed

Meals on Wheels – Niagara Falls and Niagara on the Lake, closed

Meals on Wheels and Transportation Services cancelled by Community Support Services for Welland/Pelham/West Lincoln

Bethesda’s Adult Day Programs, closed with Children’s Services Community Sessions will be transferred to Schmon Parkway location.

Residential Programs and CRP Residential Treatment will remain open. Essential services staff, residential workers and managers will remain on duty at all times and are to report for regularly scheduled shifts.

The 2nd NOTL Brownies have cancelled the meeting for this evening

The Ontario Early Years Centres for Erie-Lincoln, closed

Big Brother and Big Sisters of Niagara falls, GO Girls! progam for this evening cancelled

Port Cares and services, closed

Canadian Cancer Society at 67, Ontario Street in St. Catharines, closed
