Police say the Niagara Falls Street Crime Detectives have been investigating a male for several days and making observations of his residence in relation to the trafficking of methamphetamine.  Numerous short visits to the residence were observed and Detectives were granted a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant for the Niagara Falls residence.

On Wednesday April 6th 2016 at approximately 950pm Detectives executed the warrant with the assistance of #2 District Uniform Officers.  Inside Detectives located the accused who was arrested without incident.  Detectives found $600 worth of Crystal Methamphetamine as well as a small amount of money.

This was the third time that the Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit had investigated and executed a search warrant on this male’s residence in relation to drug investigations.  The male was just arrested in November of 2015 after Street Crime Detectives executed a warrant at the same residence and an ounce of Crystal Methamphetamine was located.  He is still before the courts on these charges.  In April 2012 Street Crime Detectives executed a warrant at his residence where he had just under an ounce of cocaine.  He plead guilty to those charges.

Charged is 44 yr old Kevin ANDREWS of Niagara Falls.  ANDREWS is charged with Possession of methamphetamine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime and breach of recognizance.  He will be held pending a Bail hearing on April 7th 2016 in St Catharines.
