According to police, in April of 2016 members of the Niagara Regional Police P.A.V.I.S. and Morality Units conducted an investigation into the sale of fentanyl in the city of Niagara Falls. On Wednesday April 27 the investigation was concluded with the arrest of four individuals.

 

23 year old Jorge Santos Mendez of Niagara Falls is charged with trafficking a schedule I substance (fentanyl)and possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl).

51 year old Guy Larouque of Welland is charged with trafficking a schedule I substance (fentanyl) and possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl).

49 year old Olga Nunez Mendez is charged with possession of schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking (fentanyl).

30 year old Katharine Sheridan of Niagara Falls is charged with possession of a schedule I substance (fentanyl).

Police seized fentanyl patches with a potential street value of $5600.00.
