Police say, on Saturday July 30, 2016 at just after 12:00 a.m., members of the Niagara Regional Police Service attended an apartment complex located on Carlton Street, in the city of St. Catharines in response to an armed person.

 

Upon arrival, police learned that two males engaged in an altercation. During this altercation one male pointed a firearm at the other male and a struggled ensued inside the doorway, the victim sustained minor bruising as a result of the attack. The suspects fled the area prior to police arriving on scene.

52 year old John Saunders is currently wanted in relation to this incident for two counts of Pointing a Firearm, and Forcible Confinement. Anyone with information relating to this matter is urged to call the 1 District Criminal Investigations Branch at 905-688-4111 ext. 4307
