Police say on November 12, 2016 at approximately 2:45 am Emergency Medical Services and uniform members of the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to the Sundowner located at 8870 Lundy’s Lane Niagara Falls for a report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.

 

Investigation revealed that a male fled in a vehicle following his involvement in a physical disturbance in the parking lot. The male driver drove his vehicle into a crowd of people standing in the parking lot. One male was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, treated and released.

Members of the Niagara Falls Detective Office have identified and recovered the involved vehicle in Hamilton and have charged a 23 year old Hamilton man with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm contrary to section 249(3) of the Criminal Code.
