Niagara Falls is getting ready for its big outdoor free concert on New Year’s Eve and will be closing lots of roadways for the event.

Scheduled Road Closures for New Year’s Eve Festivities December 31st

Murray Street – West bound lanes from Queen Victoria Park into the Fallsview tourism district will be closed to vehicles beginning at 3:00 p.m., while east bound lanes into the Park will be closed at Fallsview Boulevard starting at 7:30 p.m.

Niagara Parkway/River Road – The Niagara Parkway from Clifton Hill to Fraser Hill will be closed at 8:00 p.m.
Note: road closures are subject to police discretion and may be closed earlier.

Parking and WEGO Public Bus Transportation

There are several parking and public transportation options available for individuals and groups wishing to attend the New Year’s Eve festivities in Queen Victoria Park.

NPC’s Falls Parking Lot – Located directly across from the Table Rock Welcome Centre on the Niagara Parkway, parking will be $18 per vehicle. As well, a variety of other parking options exist throughout the City’s BIA districts and tourism core.

Falls Incline Railway – NPC’s Falls Incline Railway will be in operation throughout the day and evening of the show, until 1:00 a.m., with round trip tickets costing $5.50 per person.

WEGO Bus Transportation – Extended WEGO bus service will be offered from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m. (Green Line until 3:00 a.m.). Buses will transport visitors into the Park and will be staged at the end of the event at designated pick-up locations on the Parkway for easy access.
