Police say in February of 2017 members of the Niagara Regional Police Service Morality Unit started a drug investigation targeting a male in Niagara Falls.  The male was operating drug network throughout the Region with the assistance of numerous associates.

 

On April 03 members of the Morality Unit with the assistance of District Street Crime Teams, the PAVIS Unit and the Guns Gangs and Grows Unit executed seven Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrants.  The warrants were executed in Niagara Falls, Welland and St. Catharines.

As a result of the searches police seized a quantity of cocaine, processed marijuana, shatter (cannabis resin) and currency.  The value of the seized drugs and currency is estimated at about $150,000.
The following persons have been charged as a result of this investigation.

Gary Knight 62 years of St. Catharines
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 Counts)

Brenda Knight 58 years of St. Catharines
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (2 Counts)

Kyle Knight 26 years of Niagara Falls
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (4 Counts)
Possession Proceeds of Crime Over $5000 (2 Counts)
Possession of a Prohibited Weapon

Jody Roberts 38 years of Niagara Falls
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking (3 Counts)
Possession Proceeds of Crime Over $5000
