Police say at approximately 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday May 16th, 2017, two male suspects forced their way into an apartment on Victoria Ave. in the City of Niagara Falls and attempted to remove items from the apartment.

 

Unfortunately for the suspects, the occupants/victims within the residence fought back and gained the upper hand on the two suspects and police were called to the scene and were able to arrest the two male suspects before they left the area.

 

Arrested were:
1. Jeremy Walter BANCER (25 yrs) of NO FIXED ABODE; charged with:
a. Break, Enter & Commit contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
b. Fail to Comply Probation – contrary to section 733.1(1) of the Criminal Code
2. Christopher Timothy Gervais (32 yrs) of NO FIXED ABODE; charged with:
a. Break, Enter & Commit contrary to section 348(1)(b) of the Criminal Code
Both were held for Bail.
