In 2018 members of the Niagara Regional Police Welland Street Crime Unit started an investigation with the assistance of the RCMP into the allegations that heroin and cocaine was being sold from a Welland residence.

 

On February 23rd, 2018 the investigation concluded with the execution of a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant.  Police say that the four occupants were found to be in possession of approximately $4000 worth of heroin, fentanyl, cocaine, and marihuana.  Various trafficking indicia and a quantity of cash were also seized.

Jacob O’Neal, a 29 year old Welland resident is charged with:

-Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000

Jason Millar, a 36 year old Welland resident is charged with:
-Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking

Kyle McPherson, a 26 year old St. Catharines resident is charged with:
-Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking

Amanda TOMS, a 29 year old Welland resident is charged with: -Possession of heroin for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of fentanyl for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking
-Possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking

All four accused were held pending a bail hearing scheduled for today, February 24th.
