Niagara Regional Police say that after a year long investigation into the sale of cocaine , they have arrested and charged four people and have seized cocaine and purple fentanyl, believed to be mixed with heroin, worth an estimated $144,000.  Police also seized a quantity of Canadian currency which is believed to be the proceeds of the sale of these drugs.

 

On December 13th 2018, Police were granted judicial authorization to search four residences, one in St. Catharines and three in Niagara Falls and three motor vehicles. With the assistance of the Welland and Niagara Falls Street Crime Units, Emergency Tactical Unit and K9 Unit at approximately 8:30 pm Police executed these search warrants simultaneously.

As a result police arrested and charged four people with various drug related offences including 31 year old Abdelmuneim Abdalla of St. Catharines, 24 year old Muse Billie of Niagara Falls, 30 year old Kendel Gionet and 30 year old Emma Murphy of Niagara Falls

Gionet was released from custody on an Officer in Charge Undertaking while the other parties were held pending a bail hearing which is scheduled for December 14th 2018.
