Niagara Regional Police say they made two arrests May 2 in Fort Erie on drug trafficking related charges.

 

It started with police locating a stolen vehicle that was being driven and stopping it in a parking lot of an apartment complex on Concession Rd.

A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of approximately $1000 in drugs including fentanyl, meth, and cocaine.  Police also seized drug paraphernalia and over $500 in cash.

As a result,  29 year old Kristie Strauss and 36 year old Victoria Hurst are facing a number of drug related charges.

Both have been released from custody with future court dates.
