On Sunday, November 2, 2014 at 2:00AM Uniform Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service were dispatched to a house party in the area of Carlton Street and Niagara Street in the City of St. Catharines for a reported stabbing.
According to police, Officers attended the scene and identified a male and female at the party suffering from stab wounds. Both individuals were transported to the Niagara Health System and later released. As a result of the initial investigation, all parties involved were known to eachother and a forty seven year old male was arrested at the scene.
Charged with one count of Aggravated Assault contrary to Section 268(1) of the Criminal Code, is Johnie THOMAS of St. Catharines.  THOMAS was held in custody for a bail hearing on November 2, 2014.
