Police say on August 25, 2015, members of the Niagara Regional Police Service- 8 District Detective Office commenced a residential Break and Enter investigation which occurred in West Lincoln.  During the incident, the accused, Hodo HILL (DOB 1983-11-24, Ohsweken resident) broke into the victim’s garage and made a failed attempt to steal a parked vehicle.  HILL then stole the victim’s motorcycle as well as other property.

 

The investigation subsequently lead to Brantford Ontario, whereby HILL had used a stolen credit card from the Break and Enter to make purchases at two businesses in that community.

On September 1, 2015, Detectives arrested HILL in Brantford Ontario with the assistance of the Brantford Police Service.

Prior to the arrest, HILL had been operating a motor vehicle while being prohibited from doing so. HILL was also wanted by the Halton Police Service on an arrest warrant for auto theft.

HILL is being charged with Break and Enter – commit theft over $5000.00, Mischief under $5000.00, Drive Disqualified (X2) and Use of a Stolen Credit Card (X2).

HILL is being held for a Bail Hearing which will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at 9:00 am at 59 Church Street, St. Catharines.
