About Grace Wileichuk-Smith

“I love the art of photography. It’s so gratifying to be able to create memories for people through pictures. I love photography – it’s my passion, and my life.”

Grace’s career started modestly enough. After graduating with Honours from the photography program at Sheridan College, she worked in the industry at a studio close to home, raising two boys, and at the same time, honing her skills on thousands of photo shoots. Looking for a greater challenge, she decided to launch Photography with Grace a little more than ten years ago.

“My studio is located in the beautiful Welland Mills Historical Building in Thorold. It’s a circia 1846 stone and timber structure which continues to inspire my work, and energizes my clients.”

Although portraiture remains her specialty, Grace has done extensive commercial work for more than 25 years, which has taken her on assignments throughout Canada and the US. Her images have been published by a long list of companies and organizations worldwide.

“I’ve never ceased to be fascinated by people. I love being able to capture their personality and character. To me, this is more than a living… it’s a lifelong passion.”
