In November 2015 members of the Niagara Regional Police- Morality Unit and the P.A.V.I.S unit commenced an investigation into drug trafficking in the City of Niagara Falls.

 

Police say, in November 26, 2015 investigators applied for and received judicial authorization to search a residence located in the south end of the city and two parties were subsequently arrested and charged.

Arrested and charged with numerous offences are 28 year old Michael LAVOIE and 26 year old Ashley SEALEY, both of Niagara Falls.

Michael LAVOIE is charged with the following offences;
1 count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (Heroin)
1 count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Oxycontin)
1 count of Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Marijuana) 2 counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Weapon
1 count of Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
1 Count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
2 counts of Failing to Comply with the terms of his Probation Order

Ashley SEALEY is charged with the following offences;

1 count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purposes of Trafficking (Heroin)
1 count of Possession of a Schedule I Substance (Oxycontin)
1 count of Possession of a Schedule II Substance (Marijuana) 2 counts of Unauthorized Possession of a Restricted Weapon
1 Count of Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Both parties received a future count date to answer to these charges.
