Police say, on Tuesday April 26, 2016 at approximately 3:26 pm members of the Niagara Regional Police Service responded to the Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy located at 245 Pelham Road in St. Catharines for reports of Robbery.

 

It was reported that a lone male suspect had entered the pharmacy with his face concealed and approached the prescription counter demanding narcotics. The suspect produced a weapon and fled on foot with a quantity of narcotics in a white tray.

The suspect is described as being Male, white, approximately 5’6-5’10 in height, 23-30 years of age with a thin build and dirty blond hair. The suspect was wearing a dark blue/black hooded windbreaker style jacket, with a light blue shirt protruding from under the jacket, black pants and a red Buffalo Bills baseball style hat with a blue brim and small white logo on the side. Used to conceal his face was a predominantly red with white bandana that he pulled up from around his neck just prior to entering the pharmacy.

This incident is being investigated by detectives of the 1 District Detective Office. Anyone with information relating to this incident is requested to contact the 1 District Detective Office at 905 688 4111 ext. 4233.
