Police say that yesterday, on May 1, 2017 at about 8:55 pm a two males entered the Rexall Pharmacy, located at 144 Griffin Street South, in Smithville.

 

The males had weapons and demanded money and narcotics from the pharmacist and employees.  The males obtained a unknown quantity of narcotics and fled the Rexall Pharmacy on foot.

Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service 8 District Uniform Patrol and members of the 8 District Detective Office are actively investigating this incident.

The first male suspect is described as white, with a thin build, wearing a black balaclava covering his face, black pants, and orange hooded sweatshirt.  The second suspect is described as white with a thin build, wearing a black balaclava covering his face, grey pants and black hooded sweatshirt.
