Today marks Victoria Day and that means some things will not be open as usual. Check out some of the highlights of the day to keep in mind below:

 

-The Pen Centre and Seaway Mall are closed Victoria Day, but some stores accessible from outside Seaway Mall will stay open like Shoppers Drug Mart from 9 am – 5 pm, Pizza Pizza 11 am – 2 am and Cineplex Matinee and Evening Shows.

– The Outlet Collection and the Canada One Factory Outlet will be open today from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
– All essential services provided by Niagara Region will be available on Victoria Day including:

  • Administrative offices
  • Sexual health clinics
  • Public Health
  • Child care centres

– Garbage collection does not change. There are no changes to the collection schedule for any holidays this year.

– Niagara Region Transit and Niagara Specialized Transit will not be operating on Monday, May 22.

– Niagara Falls and St. Catharines transit services will run on holiday hours. Welland Transit will not be running.

– The LCBO and Beer Store will be closed

– Banks will be closed

– Most municipal facilities will be closed on Victoria Day.

– There is no mail delivery

– The St. Catharines Kiwanis Aquatics Centre, Seymour Hannah Sport and Entertainment Centre, Bill Burgoyne Arena, Garden City Arena Complex and community centres will be closed.
