Since May of 2017, police say members of the 1 District Street Crime Unit have been investigating two males from the Toronto area actively selling crack cocaine in the City of St.Catharines. During the course of the investigation, police made observations that were consistent with individuals who were operating a drug trafficking operation from a residence  on Page Street to sell from.

 

On May 26th 2017, members of the Welland and St.Catharines Street Crime Unit, Uniform patrol and the K9 unit, executed two search warrants at this Page Street address and arrested five individuals for Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking.

Arrested and charged was 23 year old Abdoul MARE of Toronto.

Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
Fail to comply with his Recognizance x 2

46 year old William GOODALE of St.Catharines
43 year old Martin KOWALCZYK of St.Catharines
27 year old Edmond KWAUB of St.Catharinnes
28 year old Kristina DAVIS of St.Catharines
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking

In total Police seized 72 grams of crack cocaine which holds an estimated street value of $7200 and seized a quantity of Canadian currency totaling $1400.

All parties have been held pending a morning bail hearing scheduled for May 27th 2017, except DAVIS who was released on a Promise to Appear.
