Detectives have been investigating a homicide after the body of 45 year old Johnathan Bailey of Hamilton was located in West Lincoln the morning of November 8, 2017.
Police now say that the vehicle they were looking for that is related to the case, a 2005 Black Ford Escape, has been located.
Police have been searching for the SUV ever since Bailey’s body was found near South Chippawa Road. The truck was located in a field near Dickenson and Nebo roads in Hamilton without a license plate on Friday.
At the time, police said the rear licence plate was believed to be from Ontario, but could be from Quebec. There was no plate on the front.
The homicide remains under investigation since the phone call police received on the 8th indicating that human remains had been found. Pictured below, a vehicle similar to the one located that was originally posted by police.
