In December 2017, members of the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit have been investigating several residential break and enters in the City of St.Catharines.

 

During this investigation, Police were able to identify the suspect allegedly responsible for committing these entries.

As the result of a continued investigation, uniform patrol members and Detectives from the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit arrested and charged this male.

Arrested and charged was 27 year old Joseph BRADY of St.Cathairnes.

BRADY has been charged with the following offences;
Break and Enter commit Theft Under $5000
Break and Enter with Intent to commit an Indictable Offence
Fail to Comply Recognizance

BRADY has been held for his morning bail hearing which is scheduled for January 3rd 2018.

The officer in charge of this investigation, Detective Constable Mike Landry states “I am genuinely appreciative for the proactive support provided by the St.Catharines community for assisting in this matter. Members of the public are encouraged to contact police to curtail any future Community based problems.”

Brady is currently under investigation for several other break and enters in the City.
