Police say a stabbing occurred last night about 6:30 pm in the area of King Street and Lincoln Avenue in a Beamsville parking lot.

 

 

Niagara Regional Police and Paramedics from Niagara Emergency Medical Services were called to a parking lot Emergency personnel arrived to find in a 33 year old male suffering from critical stab wounds.

The male was located in a vehicle. Persons known to the male were in the process of transporting him to the hospital when his condition deteriorated.He was subsequently transported to an out of town hospital by paramedics for treatment.

Twenty three year old Scott De Jaray of Stoney Creek was charged with one count of Aggravated Assault as a result of the incident which still remains under investigation.
