With the Niagara Region entering a province wide shutdown on December 26, 2020 due to COVID-19 the Niagara Regional Police Service has issued an advisory to the changes in their facility protocols.
In the event of an emergency, call 911 immediately for assistance.
In recognition of efforts to contain the spread of COVID-19, effective 8pm on Tuesday December 22, 2020, 1 District (St. Catharines/Thorold), 2 District (Niagara Falls/Niagara on the Lake) and 3 District (Welland/Pelham) will be open for emergency access only.
5 District (Fort Erie), 6 District (Port Colborne) and 8 District (Grimsby, Lincoln and West Lincoln) will be closed to the public.
The Records Counter which facilitates services such as copies of reports and background checks will be open by appointment only. To book an appointment please contact the Records and Information Unit at 905-688-4111 ext. 1024400.
Members of the public are encouraged to utilize online options to limit in person interactions.

Collision reporting centers (which are contracted independently via Accident Support Services International Ltd) in St. Catharines and Welland will close while the centre at Headquarters in Niagara Falls will operate Monday to Friday from 10am to 6pm and Saturday from 10am to 4pm. The centre will be closed on Sundays.
