Environment Canada issued a special weather statement today, warning of wind gusts of 70 to 80 kilometres per hour from the morning to early this evening.

Niagara Region, Simcoe, Delhi and Norfolk County, Dunnville, Caledonia and Haldimand County, Orillia, Lagoon City, Washago and area, Barrie, Collingwood, Hillsdale and area, Town of Parry Sound, Rosseau, Killbear Park and area, Port Carling, Port Severn and area, Bracebridge, Gravenhurst and area
Owen Sound, Blue Mountains and northern Grey County.
