Police say, on Saturday December 19th, 2015, at approximately 9:50 p.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service and Niagara EMS attended an apartment complex in the City of St. Catharines in response to a 911 call indicating that a male was in distress requiring medical assistance. Upon police arrival at the apartment complex, officers discovered a male suffering from injuries.

 

Investigation by members of the Niagara Regional Police Service has revealed that a break and enter in progress had been interrupted by a family member of the home owner. The intruder suffered injuries during the break and enter. The male was transported to a Niagara Health System St. Catharines Site for medical treatment.

Members of the Niagara Regional Police Service are continuing the investigation into this matter.
