What is the Port Dalhousie Supper Market you ask? In one sentence….a great night out!
Featuring food from different vendors, live music, local wines (Mike Weir Wines and Stoney Ridge Estate Winery offering wine by the glass), Cider (Ironwood Ciders) and craft beer (Silversmith Brewing Company out of Virgil) all enjoyed at gorgeous Lakeside Park in Port Dalhousie.
The Supper Market started its 2nd year this past Tuesday at the park and additional dates are set for June 14, 21; July 4, 12, 19, 26; and August 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30 from 4:30 pm to 9 p.m.
Foods available this year come from the Yellow Pear Food Truck, Tide & Vine Oyster Company, Pier 61 and The Alley, so there truly is something for every taste.
This year a Supper Market will also be seen in Welland on Thursday nights on Merritt Island. The Merritt Island Supper Market runs from 4:30 to 9 p.m.also.
It is free to attend the markets and you only pay for what you eat or drink while there. Sounds like the perfect summertime night out…why not give it a go?
