As a result of an on-going investigation into the early Sunday morning shooting in downtown St. Catharines that sent one man to hospital with life threatening injuries, detectives with the St. Catharines Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) have released the attached photos and video.

 

The public is being asked by police for assistance in identifying all four men captured in the footage:

Niagara police say a man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting early this morning in downtown St. Catharines at about 1:40 am.

Officers were alerted to a 24 year old male that had been shot in the area of St. Paul Street and Queen Street  and Major Crime and the Criminal Investigations Branch (CIB) are continuing to actively investigate this incident.

The suspect was last seen fleeing westbound in the area of St. Paul and Ontario Street, described as a male in his early 20’s, black with a slender build, wearing a dark blue hooded athletic track suit with a solid white strip down the side of the jacket and pants.
