Niagara Falls Street Crime Detectives conducted an investigation in to Toronto area drug traffickers that have been actively dealing narcotics in Niagara Falls. These individuals were selling heroin and cocaine from various hotel rooms. A search warrant was authorized for a Niagara Falls hotel room. The search warrant was executed with the assistance of the Emergency Task Unit. Five persons were arrested as a result.
According to police a subsequent search of the hotel room revealed a loaded Taurus 9mm semi-automatic handgun. A further search revealed over 1 ounce of Heroin (Street value of over $ 11,000), 20 grams of cocaine (value $2000) and a large quantity of cash
All 5 accused persons were held pending a Bail Hearing in St Catharines Court on February 12th 2015.
