According to police, on Sunday May 3, 2015 at 2:40am a lone adult female was attacked and sexually assaulted near the playground within the townhouse complex of 59 Rykert St., St. Catharines.
The female was seated near the playground when she was attacked by a male who had just earlier spoke to her.
The male is described as black, 35 years, 5’9 with a medium build. He has short braided cornrows and was wearing a burgundy v neck t-shirt and loose black jeans with a faded wash look on the front.
The Niagara Regional Police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed this attack or has any information to contact the Sexual Assault Unit, Detective Brian Essery at 905-688-4111 extension 5125.
