According to police, at about 11:30 AM today,  the Communications Unit of the Niagara Regional Police Service received a 911 call regarding a 26 year old male window washer who had been injured.

Uniform officers from the NRPS Casino Patrol Unit, along with Niagara Emergency Medical Services and the Niagara Falls Fire Service attended the Hilton Hotel on Fallsview Avenue in Niagara Falls.  Members of the Niagara Parks Police High Angle Rescue Team also responded to the area to offer assistance.

Emergency services personnel attended the roof top of the North Tower on the approximate 53rd floor where the male was located with serious injuries.

The male was transported to a Hamilton area hospital for further treatment.

The scene was held briefly while detectives from the Casino Patrol Unit and the Forensic Service Unit conducted their investigations.

The male was a sub-contractor working on the Hilton property.

The matter will remain under investigation by the Ministry of Labour.
