Police say on Friday June 19th, 2015 at approximately 9:55AM the Niagara Regional Police Service along with Niagara Emergency Medical Services, and Niagara Falls Fire Service attended 5130 Portage Road in the City of Niagara Falls for an unknown problem.

 

When uniform officers arrived on-scene, a deceased male was located in a lower apartment. The scene was secured and detectives from the Niagara Falls Criminal Investigation Branch and the Homicide Unit were contacted to assume responsibility of the investigation. The investigation was considered a homicide and the victim was identified as 70 year old, Giuseppe “Joe” CAPUTO, the resident of the apartment.

In the latest update on this case,  Niagara Regional Police Service Homicide investigators say they continue to attempt to locate and apprehend two persons wanted in connection with the First Degree Murder of Giuseppe “Joe” Caputo on June 19th, 2015.

1/ Jasmine DOXTATOR described as a 37 year old native-Canadian female, 5’4″tall , 145 lbs., brown eyes, dark brown hair believed to be dyed auburn, with tattoo on left upper shoulder blade, and distinctive Chinese symbols on left ankle.

2/ Richard DOXTATOR described as a 38 year old native-Canadian male, 6′ tall, 221 lbs., short dark brown or black hair, full arm tattoos, and distinctive tribal tattoo from upper chest to right side of neck.

The parties have frequented the Hamilton area, and have recently been observed within the York Region. The Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance.  Anyone learning the whereabouts of these wanted persons is asked not to approach them, and encouraged instead to call 9-1-1 immediately.

The public is also reminded that any person found to be assisting these parties to elude police may be found guilty of the offence of Accessory-after-the-Fact to murder.
