Those sleeping in this Family Day can wake up to a welcome warmer morning with a high today of minus 1 today!  This much more bearable temperature range may stoke desires to venture outside after a couple of days of extreme cold weather.


Municipal buildings, libraries, banks, and most supermarket chains will be closed for the day. This list also includes Beer Stores and the LCBO.
Garbage and recyclables will be collected on Family Day

Shopping Centres OPEN on Family Day include:


– Outlet Collection in NOTL – open 10-6
– Canada One Factory Outlet – open 10-6
– Niagara Square -open 12-5
– Various grocery stores in Niagara Falls also open with reduced operating hours

Canada Post offices will be open and delivery of mail will occur.
