Police say, in May of 2016, members of the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit and 1 District Detective Office conducted an investigation into an individual suspected of trafficking drugs in the City of St.Catharines.
As the investigation progressed police began observing suspected drug deals from this individual. A serious concern to Police was that this individual was conducting his suspected drug dealing within a close proximity to a public park / splash pad as well as in close proximity of an Elementary School. The Public Park is regularly used by families with small children.
As this individual was conducting a suspected drug transaction members of the St.Catharines Street Crime Unit arrested four individuals in the area of Lake Street and Beech Street. Police seized a quantity of Heroin, Cocaine and Prescription medication from the one individual. Police then obtained a search warrant for his residence which resulted in the seizure of a quantity of Cocaine.
Arrested and charged was 41 year old Michael AULIS of St.Catharines.

Possession of Proceeds of Crime Under $5000
As a result of this investigation Police seized $3,100 worth of Heroin, Cocaine, Prescription Medication and a quantity of Canadian Currency.
AULIS has been held in custody pending a bail hearing on May 3rd 2016.
