Created by the Kountourogiannis Family who brought St. Catharines ones of its premier dining establishments, Joe Feta’s, owner George Kountourogiannis has completely transformed the new restaurant located at 535 Queenston St. at the Homer Bridge into an inviting and beautiful space, neatly nestled on the beautiful Welland Canal.

Georges greek salad, (or horiatiki salata), is a rough country salad made up of juicy tomatoes, crisp cucumber, sliced red onion, green pepper, crumbly feta cheese and plump kalamata olives. The greens served up alongside a piping hot loaf of fresh bread make for a wonderful starter to any meal.
Informative staff make sure you understand all the menu options and a tight kitchen means your meal arrives quickly and piping hot.
We ordered a sumptuous feast of “Chicken from the Village” (seasoned chicken breast layered with roasted red pepper and feta cheese, topped with olive oil, then baked to a golden brown)…
and lamb shoulder chops marinated and charbroiled…served up with tzatziki and roast potatoes…WOW
George’s takes great pride in preparing all their menu options with only the freshest local ingredients. The results? Outstanding flavour and food quality and lots of happy customers.
And let’s not forget about the best part…dessert! Begin with a specialty coffee and then let your sweet tooth run wild as you enjoy delectable kataifi, baklava and kourabiethes.
