The Niagara Falls Street Crime Unit with the assistance of the Intelligence Unit executed 2 search warrants in relation to a mobile drug trafficking investigation in Niagara Falls. The warrants were executed at two Niagara Falls homes.  In total 4 persons were arrested and several charges were laid.

 

Police say they located $1300 worth of various drugs including cocaine, MDMA, hash, hash oil and marihuana.  Drug trafficking paraphernalia was also located inside each residence.  One of the accused, Yvon Bertrand, was arrested operating his motor vehicle while he was a disqualified driver.  He was located with cocaine on him and his vehicle was seized.  A sum of money was also seized by Police.

Charged is 46yr old Yvon BERTRAND of Niagara Falls,
4 counts of Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds of crime
Drive while disqualified

Charged is 54yrs Albert TYCHYNSKI  of Niagara Falls
Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000

Charged is 45yr old Wendy DEBURG-THOMAS  of Niagara Falls
Possession for the purpose of trafficking
Possession of proceeds of crime over $5000

Charged is 56yr old Raymond GALLEN of Niagara Falls
Breach of Probation

All 4 persons were held pending a Bail Hearing in St Catharines on October 28th, 2017.
