Police say that on Thursday January 26th, the Niagara Regional Police Service’s Opioid Investigations Unit, with the assistance of the Guns and Gangs Unit, concluded a fentanyl trafficking investigation in the city of Niagara Falls.

 

As a result of the investigation, police charged Gaetano Mallia 57 years, and Christopher Ridgeway 32 years with being in possession of a schedule I substance (fentanyl) for the purpose of trafficking. Police seized currency, a debt list, cell phone, and fentanyl patches with a street value of $8575.00.
